Beginning Pattern Making

Join us every Tuesday night for Beginning Pattern Making with Nicolette Paulsen, our Textile Lab Lead! 

We will begin working from 1/2 scale fitted bodice blocks to learn slash and spread techniques as well as pivoting darts in order to create custom style lines. Collars and necklines will also be covered. This is a nonsequential course meaning each week will be a stand on its own project.

Nicolette has 40+ years of experience in Fashion Design experience including pattern making, draping, fitting, grading, and construction. She has also spent those years teaching 3D design, the ability to create a design from sketch to finished project.

Class is from 6pm – 8pm.
